Prosthodontics
3 year specialty study in prosthetic dentistry including fixed, removable and implant related rehabilitations.
Prosthodontists are the overall plan-makers, working towards the best functional, aesthetic and long-lasting outcome for you.
Paul Cashman
I graduated as a dentist from Trinity College Dublin in 2000 and subsequently trained as a Prosthodontist at the University of Iowa, USA. A fellowship in Maxillofacial Prosthetics and Dental Oncology at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas followed.
Fate conspired, in the form of a Timaru local, to bring me to Christchurch where I set up my Prosthodontic practice in 2015. I'm really appreciative of the support I have received from our team, patients and dental colleagues to date.
Maxillofacial Prosthetics and Dental Oncology
This American Dental Association recognised training program centered around treatment planning, rehabilitation and maintenance for patients that have cancer, traumatic or congenital malformations in a multidisciplinary team setting.
Kyla
Kyla is our practice manager and chairside assistant at Canterbury Prosthetic Dentistry.
She has worked alongside Paul since he set up his Prosthodontic practice in 2015.
Kyla lives in Christchurch and enjoys keeping active.
She has worked in the dental industry for many years in Christchurch and overseas as a dental assistant, as a sales rep and as a practice manager bringing a great deal of experience and knowledge to Canterbury Prosthetic Dentistry.
Yoriko
Yoriko is the laboratory assistant and chairside assistant at Canterbury Prosthetic Dentistry. Living in Christchurch for 23 years, Yoriko has worked with Paul for over 5 years.
Yoriko married a Kiwi-man and has 2 children. She is also a Graphic designer and loves drawing, painting, stone painting etc…
